The Heritage Music Blues festival began in 2001 and continues to be a thriving venue for new and upcoming artists as well the respected mainstays of the blues community. Situated on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Wheeling, WV adds to the mystique combining natural beauty and harmony. The festival has the distinction of being the recipient of the “Keeping the Blues Alive” award in 2010 from the Blues Foundation.
