Sugar Blue

Born James Whiting and was in Harlem, New York, Sugar Blue is a Grammy Award winning bluesman. A harmonica virtuoso, Sugar Blue’s blues harp and vocals are soulful and poignant. He has performed with classic artists like Muddy Waters, B.B. King , Art Blakey and Lionel Hampton, and has appeared on screen and in the musical score of the acclaimed 1987 thriller Angel Heart, starring Robert De Niro.
