Tutu Jones grew up in a musical home in Dallas, Texas. Tutu’s father was an R&B guitarist and his home was frequented by quests like Freddie King, Little Joe Blue and Ernie Johnson. With these musical influences, Tutu’s musical career started early and rapidly evolved. First as a drummer, Tutu later turned to guitar. The rest is history. His future as a bluesman was sealed. We had the opportunity to see Tutu at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April 2008.
